The calmest conditions for SUP’ing, flat water, not much wind and a rising tide.  Hurrah!  But it’s still a river, which means hard work going upstream.  The reward was well worth it though; I was basically a giant Pooh stick all the way back to the beach.

Drifting under the A38

Route up riverI paddled for 50 minutes from the beach at the bottom to the building at top left.  It took about 35 minutes to just drift back!
