The wild garlic is running amok despite all my best efforts to eat it! Tonight’s meal was spaghetti with wild garlic pesto and I was very pleasantly surprised. Prior to adding the lemon, I wasn’t at all sure!
No photos though stupidly. It didn’t look too different to the recipe and was a very fresh bright green colour, then when mixed with the pasta, was almost pastel mint in colour. (I used some elderly remains of a pine nut packet and some sunflower seeds instead of hazelnuts.)
Lunchtime was lentil and random veg soup and was the closest I’ve come to blowing up The Obliterator; half a bag of lentils suck up a vast quantity of water it would seem!
