Paper mache is a much underrated material; cheap and strong, you can explore organic shapes not easily obtainable using other mediums.

Peacock Christmas tree topper

 

The request was for a paper mâché peacock tree topper as a Christmas decoration.  It is constructed from garden wire, paper mâché, PVA glue, pins, feathers, metal from Pinky’s old passenger windscreen wiper and acrylic paint.  It hooks together in three sections and will, I hope, be enjoyed by its new owner.
